Setting up home delivery rates

The courier home delivery-type shipping rates assigned to your shipping zones need to be linked to the activated shipping provider. This is how the PickupBird by Digiloop app knows which shipping rate to assign to the customer when they choose home delivery.

Setting up the shipping rate

  1. In the Shopify admin, open the PickupBird by Digiloop app and go to the Shipping zones and rates menu.

  2. Go to the Home delivery tab.

  3. In the list that appears, you can set the appropriate shipping rate separately for each provider — on the left (for example GLS).

  4. On the right-hand panel, find the zone you want to assign a rate to (for example Shipping zone: Romania).

  5. Click the dropdown field and select the appropriate shipping rate.

  6. Repeat this for every zone and provider you use.

Turning on home delivery

As soon as you assign a rate to a zone, home delivery is automatically turned on for that provider — after saving, the status indicator switches from "Home delivery disabled" to the enabled state, "Home delivery enabled." This is how it works for every provider except Packeta, which requires an extra confirmation step — if you use Packeta, check the home delivery status separately after saving.
