As soon as an order comes in, you need to forward it to your shipping provider so the parcel can be picked up and delivered. In PickupBird, you can do this manually — one at a time or in bulk — or even automatically.
Open the Shopify admin, then go to the Orders menu of the PickupBird by Digiloop app. Here you can see all the orders that came in through the PickupBird pickup point or map selector.
Forwarding orders one at a time
In the top-left corner, select the shipping provider whose orders you want to view and manage. You can use the filters at any time to see the orders you're looking for (e.g., show only unfulfilled orders). For details, see the "Filtering fulfilled and unfulfilled orders" article.
Click the ID of the order you want to forward to your shipping provider. This opens the order details page.
Click the "Actions" button in the top-right corner, and select "Create Shipping Label". This forwards your order to the shipping provider and adds the corresponding tracking number.
This sends your order to the shipping provider and adds the tracking number.
The order is set to Fulfilled. Depending on your Shopify store settings, this may trigger a tracking email to the customer.
For MPL: after creating the label, make sure to close the shipment by clicking Actions -> Close Shipment. You can then print the shipping notes by clicking Actions -> Print Shipping Notes.
You can print the shipping label by clicking Actions -> Print Shipping Label.
Prepare the parcel for shipping and hand it over to the courier.
