Yes. PickupBird by Digiloop is an app that helps automate and simplify the process of forwarding orders to shipping carriers. It does not replace the business relationship you need to establish with the given carrier.
What PickupBird by Digiloop does
Maintains the connection between your store and your shipping carrier using the credentials you provide.
Displays the connected carriers' pickup points or home delivery options to your customers.
Generates the shipping labels.
Forwards the order data to the shipping carrier's system.
What PickupBird by Digiloop does not do
PickupBird does not deliver orders itself — delivery is always carried out by the shipping carrier.
PickupBird does not enter into contracts with shipping carriers on your behalf.
What you need to do
Enter into your own contract directly with every shipping carrier you want to use.
Obtain the credentials provided by the carrier (API key, username/password, client ID, etc.).
Enter this information in the PickupBird by Digiloop settings, on the Connection tab of the relevant shipping carrier.
You'll find the exact fields required for each carrier, and where to find them on the carrier's own website, in the article "Carrier Credentials Reference Table".
Without a valid contract and working credentials, PickupBird by Digiloop cannot forward orders or generate labels for the given carrier.
