Which integration should I choose?

PickupBird by Digiloop can display pickup points to your customers in five different ways. You can decide which one to use in the Integration and Design menu in the Shopify admin.

1. Smart Delivery Page

  • A separate delivery selection page between the Cart and the Checkout, where customers choose their delivery method and can give their billing details, with a cart summary shown alongside.

  • This is the default integration: the Setup Guide recommends it for new installs.

  • Available in every PickupBird by Digiloop plan, including Free.

  • No Google Maps API key is needed.

  • For more information, see the “Setting up the Smart Delivery Page” article.

2. Interactive map display on Cart

  • Displays an interactive map with all pickup points, directly on the Cart page.

  • The customer selects the pickup point before reaching checkout.

  • Available in every PickupBird by Digiloop plan, including Free.

  • For more information, see the “Setting up the Cart page integration” article.

3. Checkout list integration

4. Interactive map display on Thank you page and Order status page

  • The customer selects the pickup point from the map after the Checkout process: on the order confirmation (“Thank you”) screen, or, if this step was skipped, on the order status page.

  • A good solution if you don’t want to add an extra step before checkout, but still want to offer a map-based pickup point selection.

  • Available in every PickupBird by Digiloop plan, including Free.

  • Displaying the map requires your own Google Maps API key. For more information, see the “How do I get a Google Maps API key?” article.

5. Map display on Checkout

Do I need to pay extra for an integration?

No. Every PickupBird by Digiloop plan, including Free, includes the Smart Delivery Page, the Cart map, the Checkout list and the Thank you page map. The only exception is the Checkout map, which is available on the Plus plan.
