You can control which products can be shipped through a given provider's pickup points — this is managed using a product TAG.
Please note that this option is only available when using Interactive Map mode.
How It Works
Open the Shipping providers menu, select the provider you want to set a restriction for.
Then go to the Rules tab.
In the Tag-based pickup point rule(s) section, click + Add new rule.
Enter the tag in the Choose tag(s) field, then choose a condition:
Include — the provider can only ship products with this tag. All other products are blocked.
Exclude — the provider cannot ship products with this tag. All other products are allowed.
Click Save.
Example
Suppose one of your products has the GLS tag.
If you set the Include → GLS rule for GLS: customers can select a GLS pickup point and proceed to checkout without a warning, since the product has the required tag.
If you set the Exclude → GLS rule for GLS: when a customer with this same product in their cart tries to select a GLS pickup point, they will get a warning telling them which product cannot be delivered there, and they can then decide whether to remove the product from their cart or choose a different shipping method.
Customizing the Warning Message
If your customer selects a product that the shipping provider chosen on the cart page cannot deliver based on the rules above, a warning message will appear on the cart as soon as they mark which (unsupported) point they want the order sent to.
You are free to customize the text of the warning message shown to customers. To do this, go to the Integration and Design menu, open the Interactive Map mode settings, select the Translations tab, and edit the relevant text.
